The CAPTEC RF series radiation sensor is a groundbreaking radiative heat flux sensor that is alternately covered with thin heat-absorbing plates and reflective plates, allowing it to measure only the radiative heat applied to the sensor surface. Unlike conventional radiometers, this radiation sensor does not require the installation of infrared filter windows. Additionally, the sensor's sensitivity remains constant even with temperature changes, outputting a voltage that is perfectly proportional to the radiative heat flux value. The emissivity of the sensor surface can also be specified as desired, enabling more accurate measurement of radiative heat under various thermal environments.
